KIP was launched in January 2004 as part of the National Churches Homelessness Sunday awareness campaign “Building Justice –Yes we can” KIP stands for ‘KIP- IN-PLACE’ and the project seeks to bring into place an emergency accommodation provision for Adult Homeless aged 26 – 60yrs. within the Borough of Telford & Wrekin. KIP is a community project of The Salvation Army Oakengates and receives support from individuals, churches and organisations. It provides a information and drop-in provision at its base in Tan Bank, Wellington. Working with adults who are without accommodations in partnership with Maninplace Estate Ltd to identify accommodation. . |
